Despite injury setbacks in the latter half of 2023, the Kazakhstani player has made a successful return to competitive form, positioning herself as a key contender for this year’s championship. Joining Rybakina is last year’s finalist, Daria Kasatkina, who is aiming to improve on her runner-up finish. Kasatkina has maintained a consistent presence in the top rankings and remains a formidable competitor in the upcoming tournament.

Also returning to the draw is 2023 champion Belinda Bencic of Switzerland. Bencic, who took a brief hiatus due to injury, is set to make her comeback and will seek to add another title to her career achievements. The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open has rapidly gained prominence on the WTA calendar, attracting top-ranked players and providing a platform for rising talent. Organizers have emphasized their commitment to delivering an exceptional tournament experience for both players and spectators.

With the participation of leading international stars, the event is expected to draw significant attention, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s status as a global destination for major sporting events. Ticket sales and additional details about the schedule are available through the tournament’s official channels. The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open continues to highlight the region’s growing influence in professional tennis, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s broader investment in sports and entertainment infrastructure. – By MENA Newswire News Desk
